Our Services

Below are some of the common services we provide. We provide many services, please feel free to give us a call to ask about anything not seen here. We specialize in landscape construction- we do not provide landscape maintenance.

Full Landscape Design and Installation

Just purchased your home and have a totally empty front or backyard? Our landscape designer will consider different aspects of your lifestyle to design your ideal yard- whether that includes a paver patio, drought tolerant plants, retaining wall, raised planter bed, outdoor kitchen, firepit, or more! We will work with you to put design on paper, and will help get the proper documents submitted to HOA if needed.

If you have already worked with a landscape architect or designer, just hand us your plans and we will happily build them out!

Lawn Replacement

In Sacramento, drought and reduced precipitation have become increasingly common. Our lawn replacement service offers a sustainable solution by replacing high-water-use landscapes with native, and other drought-tolerant plants. This approach not only conserves water but also enhances the beauty and ecological health of your yard. Low-maintenance groundcovers provide a visually striking, sustainable alternative to traditional grass, requiring less water, chemicals, and upkeep. Whether you prefer a low-growing groundcover or a soft meadow grass, we’ll design a solution tailored to your needs—ideal for families, pets, and those looking for a more eco-friendly landscape.

Concrete & Hardscaping

We offer a variety of concrete services, including driveways, pathways, steppers, patios, and steps, with customizable finishing options like broom finish, colored, stamped, or salt finish. Whether you’re looking for durability or a unique design, we provide high-quality craftsmanship to suit your needs.

In addition to concrete, we also specialize in other hardscaping options such as flagstone, pavers, and decomposed granite, offering versatile solutions to enhance your outdoor spaces.

Retaining Walls

Whether you are in need of a brand new retaining wall to shorten the "hill" in your backyard, or need to redo one- we've got you covered. There are a variety of different material options such as concrete blocks, stone, or wood.

Waterfalls & Firepits

Waterfalls make a stunning addition to any yard, offering both beauty and a cultural connection to water as life. In Sacramento, where water conservation is key, we design sustainable waterfalls that use recirculating pumps to minimize water waste. By incorporating native plants and eco-friendly filtration, we ensure your feature remains low-maintenance and efficient. Beyond aesthetics, these water features also provide a vital resource for local wildlife, supporting the natural ecosystem and deepening our connection to water as a life-sustaining force.

Firepits are a great gathering place for friends and family to enjoy time together while connecting with the warmth and life of the fire.

Lawn & Irrigation

Although water-guzzling lawns are commonly being replaced in Sacramento, some homeowners find installation of lawns necessary for dogs or small children. We encourage homeowners to be intentional about your choices, such as square footage of sod deemed necessary. Please remember that traditional sod requires significant water and maintenance, so thinking ahead about your landscape's needs can help reduce your environmental impact. Being mindful about your lawn’s purpose and care can lead to a more water-efficient, eco-friendly yard that fits your lifestyle and local climate conditions

FAQ

Yes, if you know what kind of work you want done! For example- you know you want concrete in certain areas, plants, a firepit, a water feature. Give us a call, and we will schedule a time to come out to your home to discuss your plans and take measurements. We can then provide you with a free estimate.

If, however, you do not know exactly what you want we do charge a fee for a consultation. This is due to the fact that discussions are often much longer- you may potentially need a design created first- and it takes more time to provide options and price out an estimate. If a full design is necessary, the consultation fee will be applied to the cost of the design work.

Scheduling varies according to season. In some cases, we can begin within 1 week or 2. There are times during the summer when we can be very busy, and it could take us a 1.5-2 months to begin a project, especially if it requires HOA approval. Therefore, if you are set to hire us, it is helpful to get on the schedule as soon as you know by paying the deposit.

We officially place clients on our schedule after the deposit has been paid. The deposit is either 10% of the total project cost, or $1,000- whichever is lower.

Yes we do, but there is an additional 3% fee.

We will work with you to create a design based on how you would like to use the space, and elements you would like to embody or include. We can show you examples of patios- concrete, paver or brick. You can start to get ideas of books as well. As you are making your decisions, we will create the design on the computer to show you the plans. Depending on the extent of design work needed, the cost of design may cost $500.

No, it is not necessary for you to be home. We just need to have access to the backyard if the project is back there.

A deposit will be collected prior to placing you on the schedule. Once the project commences, payments are due weekly (Friday) based on the amount of work complete and/or materials purchased.

This varies depending on the project. Something simple like installing sod can take 2-3 days. A mid size project such as installation of concrete, rock and grass could take a week. A larger project, such as an empty yard, could take up to a month or longer.
